Service 01
Brand film
Two to four minutes of the thing you actually do, shot on location rather than staged in a studio. Scripted where it needs to be, observed where it does not.

CNRY Studio · Toronto
CNRY Studio is my independent film and photography practice. Documentary, automotive and brand work for companies that would rather have something true than something polished — and usually get both.
01 — Services
Four offerings. If a project sits between two of them, that is usually fine — say so on the brief call.
Service 01
Two to four minutes of the thing you actually do, shot on location rather than staged in a studio. Scripted where it needs to be, observed where it does not.
Service 02
Rolling and static coverage, interiors, detail. Built for listings, launches and editorial. Cabin and interface detail included as standard, because that is what I look at anyway.
Service 03
Long-form observation of something happening once. Minimal crew, minimal intervention, and selects reviewed on location so nothing is missing after the fact.
Service 04
Founders, teams, and the product on a desk. Short sessions in your own space, available light where the room allows it. Retouched to look like the person, not like a render.
Every project is quoted individually against scope, licensing and turnaround — there is no rate card, because a half-day portrait session and a two-day automotive shoot have nothing in common. You get the number before anything is booked.
02 — How a project runs
The quote and the deliverables list are agreed in writing before the first shoot day. Nothing after that is a renegotiation.
Book the brief callStage 01
Twenty minutes, free. What it is for, where it runs, and what would make it a failure.
Stage 02
One page: shoot days, deliverables, licensing, turnaround, and the number. Signed before anything is scheduled.
Stage 03
Location seen at the hour we will actually shoot. The shot list comes out of the recce, not before it.
Stage 04
Selects reviewed on location. If something is missing, we are still standing in the place where we can get it.
Stage 05
Colour, cut, one revision round inside the agreed turnaround, then files at every size the destination needs.
03 — Fit
A studio that is right for everything is right for nobody. Here is where CNRY is a good call and where it is not.
Good fit
Not the right call
The studio and the research practice ask the same question: what is actually happening here, before anybody decides what it should look like?
